Anytime I'm anywhere with my clutches I hear:

"OMG, I love these! How did you get started making them?"

So if you're new here, here it goes:
Born in central Massachusetts, i moved to Clinton Hill, Brooklyn at 18 to attend Pratt Institute. I was always inspired by retro-classy fashion that never took itself too seriously and while i was still in college, i started my career in stage-wear by cold emailing Katy Perry's manager (on myspace) and creating the iconic, fruit-inspired ensembles she wore during her breakout years. (yes, wild!)
After graduating in 2010 i continued putting shapes all over pop star dresses and then put out a collection of separates for 5 seasons between 2014-2016  (#retroversible, anyone?).  In the summer 2016, knowing retroversible was winding down, I needed to figure out what was next. I was still doing stagewear and enjoying it, but knew something was missing. i wanted to put my product in front of a whole new, larger group of people so I applied to do my first ever pop up shop at Chelsea Market in NYC. Along with my clothing, i knew that to round out my product selection, i needed ONE MORE PRODUCT to sell that customers would not have to try on and that still got my vision across. i did not have a lot of money to put into development so I looked around my home studio to see what materials i already had- I found some extra zippers, sparkly fabrics and some super fun shape patterns from the days of putting shapes all over my pop star dresses...

So I made a bag.

My clutches are now sold everywhere from pet stores to sex stores and at department stores like Macys, Nordstrom & Neiman Marcus-- no matter where they are sold, these clutches are sure to bring a smile to the face of everyone that sees them! I never anticipated going into accessories and my clutches took off in a way that i could not see coming.  That's how it happens, they say.
I hope my clutches make you smile. I hope you buy them- for yourself, a friend, your mom, your grandmother, your daughter- anyone in your life that you want to make happy!  thanks for loving them!
