I’ve always been obsessed with retro, playful fashion that doesn’t take itself too seriously. While still in college, I took a big swing and cold-emailed Katy Perry’s manager (yep, on Myspace! 😱) and ended up designing her iconic, fruit-inspired stage outfits during her breakout years. 🍉🍓🍒 (That watermelon romper on The Today Show? Yep, that was me!) 🎤
After graduating in 2010, I kept designing custom stagewear with fun shapes and quirky designs. Between 2014-2016, I launched #Retroversible, a line of playful separates. But by 2016, I knew something new was on the horizon! I applied for my first-ever pop-up at Chelsea Market in NYC, and while prepping for it, I realized I needed one more thing—something that was fun, easy to sell, and didn’t require trying on. I scrounged around my home studio and found some leftover zippers, sparkly fabrics, and playful patterns from my stagewear days...and voilà, my first clutch was born! 💫
My clutches are now sold everywhere—from pet stores 🐾 to sex stores 😏 and department stores like Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Neiman Marcus. I love to partner with different brands that have made our clutches stand out in industries I never thought I'd be part of! No matter where they’re sold, these colorful, quirky clutches are guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone who sees them! 😍🎉
